Thank you for your interest in one of our horses. You must fill out & sign an adoption or foster contract for each horse. You can find the applications in the FORMS tab. These contracts are a legal binding contract between Black Diamond Rescue & Rehab Inc. and the Adopter or Foster. The contracts helps to ensures that the horse will not be put back into a kill pen or in an abusive environment again.
Through our adoption and foster programs, we match animals with caring individuals or families, ensuring a smooth transition and ongoing support for both the animal and the Adopter or Foster home.
Foster homes are an important asset of our organization. They open their homes and their hearts to house horses in need. Some foster homes help rehabilitate starved and neglected horses while others work with horses who have training problems or who are not trained at all. Foster homes show their horses to potential adopters and when their horse is adopted, fosters then open their home and heart up for another in need.
